On 29 January, the gala of the 10th edition of the CEPYME Awards took place in the Auditorium of the Reina Sofia Museum (Madrid), to award prizes in different categories to small and medium-sized Spanish companies.
The event, organised by the Confederación Española de la pequeña y Mediana Empresa and the Confederación de organizaciones Empresariales, together with the sponsoring companies and other collaborating organisations, was attended by various representatives of the business and institutional fabric. Among them were His Majesty the King, Felipe VI, the representative of CEPYME, Gerardo Cuerva, the President of the CEOE, Antonio Garamendi and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, Carlos Cuerpo. The King congratulated the attendees for "undertaking, believing, creating and preserving" and encouraged them to continue growing, offering the support of the Crown and assuring that "SMEs could be the protagonists of greater well-being for Spaniards and greater economic growth".
